Our Home Away From Home

Our friends from Nashville and my husband and I (we're from Atlanta) have found the perfect place to meet--The Murphy Bungalow--in Chattanooga.  Saundria, my writing partner and friend, and I have been working on a Bible story book for young children and their parents. We needed a writing spot with good vibes.  Our husbands are our business partners and also contribute to the photography for our blog site, which is entitled passthebreadmom.com They were looking for an area with multiple photo opportunities. After much consideration, Chattanooga seemed the perfect spot to meet. Then we found the The Murphy Bungalow on line.

The Murphy Bungalow provides the perfect mix of welcoming hospitality and stylish comfort. The bungalow look and feel start our creative juices flowing even before we enter the front door.  The front porch welcomes us. It  holds a mixture of healthy potted plants, a cozy porch swing padded with colorful pillows, and a small wrought iron breakfast table just waiting for afternoon tea to be served.

Linda Murphy always has the place in tip top shape for us and has a plate of cookies waiting in the kitchen.  Her bountiful breakfasts are one of the big draws.  Linda is a wonderful cook.

But possibly the sweetest part of the visit is Linda's interest in what we're doing, and the card table and lamp set up in the sunroom ready for us to work.

If you would like a cozy place to stay while you explore the wonders of Chattanooga, try Linda Murphy's charming The Murphy Bungalow.

We will return often.
